Chesapeake Bay Foundation - Bay Schools Project

Long recognized as a school that promotes environmental stewardship and that treasures the Chesapeake Bay—both as a vital national resource and as an outdoor classroom rich with learning opportunities—Key School is proud to have been selected by the esteemed Chesapeake Bay Foundation as a "Bay School." Key was one of nine schools in the State of Maryland and the only independent school selected for this joint endeavor.

From rich professional development opportunities that have taken Key teachers into the field with week-long study visits to Smith and Tangier Islands, to collaboration on curricular initiatives, this partnership has strengthened the School's ability to further integrate Bay studies into the everyday curriculum at all grade levels.
